Employment History

Youth Researcher (Build Back Better: Young Leaders Programme) at Restless Development, London (Aug 2020 – Present)

As part of a team of young researchers, I’ll receive training from experts in the field of research, support from Restless Development staff, and have the opportunity to produce findings that contribute to a better understanding of how young people are being impacted by COVID 19.

As part of my engagement in the programme, I will:

  • Attend training webinars by professionals in the industry on how to carry out research
  • Meet as a team to decide on areas of research
  • Carry out a range of information gathering activities such as interviews, focus groups
    and surveys
  • Collect data, analyse findings to form reports, and decide on action going forward.
    There may be opportunities to use findings to advocate for action from decision-makers in the UK.

I used Adobe Audition to mix and edit tracks and taught music students how to use music editing software to produce high-standard assignments.

Food Distribution Volunteer at Rhythms of Life, London (Feb 2020 – Present)

As part of my voluntary role, I:
• Distribute food and essential items to the homeless.
• Promote sustainability by collecting surplus food, ensuring meals are edible, and distributing them to service users.

Kids Summer Sessions Volunteer at Oasis Community Hub Waterloo, London (Jul – Aug 2020

• Led craft and outdoor activities for primary school age children in Waterloo.
• Worked with project leader and other volunteers to prepare socially distanced activity spaces.

I curated a series of art blogs for the 2020 Waterloo Festival, collaborating with a diverse range of artists to share their stories.

I have worked with The Commonwealth Resounds and the High Comissoner of Antigua and Barbuda to the UK to lead outreach projects in Antigua & Turkey.
